Can i still play?
Hey,
It's been awhile since i have played GW... And i mean awhile. Haha. I don't have the original, but i have the rest of them(Though, im plannin on buying the original). Could i still play, level, and meet new people and have fun? Cause it's looking really appealing to me now, and i want to try it again. Is it possible? |

Yes you can still play if you have Nightfall and/or Factions since there stand alone games just like the original. Only EOTN isn't stand alone, for that you need at least one of the stand alone games.

Yes. And what do you mean you don't have the original. You don't need the disks to play the game. If you created an account in the past, just go to guildwars.com and download the client (several hours of download). Log in with your account name (email address you used back then), password and a character name. All your game info is on the ArenaNet server.
Now, if you don't remember the account name, password and/or character name, contact Support at [email protected], put LOST ACCOUNT INFO in the subject line and include the access keys you do have in the message. Have fun in the game.

Unless they've changed it and I just haven't been in the loop, I was pretty sure that you just needed one of the standalone campaigns to play EotN. It didn't matter which one you had, you could play EotN with just Factions, just Nightfall, or just Prophecies.

and yes you can still level and such in the game. now if u want your old account back(assuming u want it, it may have been hacked from back when that whole NCSoft account glitch appeared on the ncoft site) you'll have to go through the support. It might take a week or so(assuming how much info you give them) to get back to you. Well gl, and have fun in the game . |

It wouldn't hurt to try and get your original account back (assuming it was stolen during the glitch/hack-wars PlayNC had a while back) if you want to pick up on GW again. You could always buy a new account and in the process try to get your older one back as well.
It's always nice to have a spare account lying around-- trust me on that; I have 15 accounts as it is! xD |
